HCSW/HCA Training Package - 

This course is designed to support HCSWs working in Primary Care who are either new to the HCSW role or new to the
general practice setting.

It aims to equip HCSWs with the knowledge, behaviors and skills required for Primary Care.

Training delivery is a hybrid of e-learning, virtual sessions and face to face taught sessions.

GP Practices would need to identify a named clinical supervisor/assessor and allow time and support for learning modules, practical learning, assessment and supervision.

Training Package:

Introduction and care certificate - Online - September the 10th - from 09:00 - 13:00.
Introduction to Immunisation - Face to Face - October the 8th from 13:00 - 16:30 - Nelson House Whitecross Road,
Hereford HR4 0DG.
Wound Care - Online - November the 13th - from 09:00 - 13:00.
Phlebotomy - Face to Face - December the 12th - from 09:00 - 17:00 - Nelson House Whitecross Road, Hereford HR4 0DG.
Smoking Cessation - Online - January the 14th - from 14:00 - 17:00.
ECG - Face to Face - February the 12th - from 10:00 - 16:00 - Nelson House Whitecross Road, Hereford HR4 0DG.
NHS Health Checks and Learning Disability Annual Health Checks - Online - March the 13th - from 14:00 -17:00.
