Introduction

General Practice Fellowships Programme, which will support the development of your local offer of a two-year fellowship to newly qualified GPs and newly qualified nurses entering general practice. Rolling program start dates pending cohort size and continued national funding. 2023 cohort lauch pending application numbers.

Eligibility

Individuals participating in the programme should:

  • Have qualified in the previous 12 months (on a rolling basis) as a GP or Nurse; so are within their first year of practice post qualification
  • Hold or about to hold a substantive post in Herefordshire and Worcestershire General Practice
  • Be working to provide primary medical services

Applications are welcome from practices or individual Practitioners. Should the practice be in the process of recruiting they are eligible to apply for a prospective candidate but they will need to be in post for the start date (To be confirmed).
