Mortimer Medical Practice is a well-established rural dispensing GP practice serving approximately 9,000 patients across three sites in Kingsland, Orleton and Leintwardine, all in beautiful Herefordshire. We are a community-focused practice, proud of the high-quality, personalised care we provide and the strong relationships we have with our patients and local communities.

We are entering an exciting period of development and are looking for an exceptional Practice Manager to join us and play a key role in shaping the next chapter of Mortimer Medical Practice.

Working closely with an experienced Partnership and Leadership Team, you will have the opportunity to lead the day-to-day operation of the practice, develop our staff, drive improvement and bring new ideas to the way we work.

You will be supported by an experienced operational team, including an Assistant Practice Manager, Operational & Compliance Lead, Lead Nurse, Dispensary Manager and Care Navigation Team Leader.

Our three-site structure provides variety and an interesting operational challenge, while our rural setting offers the opportunity to work within a genuinely community-focused practice, where knowing our patients and understanding the communities we serve really matters. This is a busy, practice and we are looking for a visible, hands-on and approachable leader who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day running of a practice. You will need to be comfortable stepping in when required, supporting your team and finding practical solutions to problems as they arise.

Position:                                  OPERATIONS AND COMPLIANCE LEAD

Pay:                                         £31,833 - £33,916 (WTE) Depending on experience

Mortimer Medical Practice is a well-established rural dispensing GP practice serving approximately 9,000 patients across three sites in Kingsland, Orleton and Leintwardine. We are a community-focused practice, proud of the high-quality, personalised care we provide and the strong relationships we have with our patients and local communities.

We are now looking for an Operations & Compliance Lead to join our Leadership Team and play an important role in ensuring our practice remains safe, compliant, well maintained and fit for the future.

This is a varied and responsible role, working closely with the Practice Manager and Assistant Practice Manager, and alongside our wider clinical and operational leadership team. You will take ownership of the practice's operational compliance framework across all three sites, ensuring that inspections, servicing, audits, risk assessments, policies and statutory requirements are completed and appropriately recorded.

A key part of the role will be keeping abreast of requirements arising from CQC, relevant legislation, NHS England, the GMS contract, local commissioning arrangements and other national requirements affecting general practice. You will need to be organised and proactive, able to identify what needs to be done, arrange appropriate contractors or specialists where required, and ensure that actions are followed through to completion.

This is not a technical maintenance role. You will not be expected to undertake specialist work yourself; rather, you will coordinate the right people to do it. From arranging Legionella testing and fire equipment servicing, to overseeing health and safety audits, medical equipment calibration, premises security and building maintenance, you will ensure that nothing is overlooked and that the practice can demonstrate appropriate evidence of compliance.

We are looking for someone who is practical, organised, conscientious and solutions-focused, with excellent attention to detail and the confidence to take ownership of issues. You will need to be comfortable working with contractors, suppliers and external organisations, while also building strong relationships with colleagues across the practice.

As a member of the Leadership Team, you will have genuine opportunity to influence how the practice operates and help develop a culture where good governance, safety, compliance and continuous improvement are embedded into everyday practice.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Pharmacist to join our friendly and supportive GP Surgery in Worcester.

We are looking for a candidate who has excellent communication skills, a compassionate and friendly nature and to lead our clinical pharmacy team.

GP Practice experience is essential

Exciting opportunity to join 2 rural Dispensing Practices in North West Herefordshire in an ARRS role post.

5 sessions a week (3 at Mortimer 2 at Weobley and Staunton-on-Wye)

We have a great opportunity available for a salaried GP to join our Practice in Malvern, Worcestershire. We are a friendly innovative practice consisting of 4 partner GPs and 4 salaried GPs and an ACP. We have a list size of just under 13,000 patients. EMIS Practice.

We are looking for a salaried GP to work 6/8 sessions per week with us.

We utilise a total triage model, so the right patients are seen by the right clinician at the right time.

Additional duties:

• Admin including referrals, correspondence, lab results, and document processing.
• Our salaried GPs assist with both triage and duty clinics as well as holding prebooked clinics.
• Attendance at practice meetings and training as and when appropriate
• Insurance reports and other non-GMS work for patients as required
