Aspiring to Care Workshops – September 2018

Do you want to progress your career? Are you interested in higher apprenticeships available now or in the future? Are you worried about undertaking academic study?

FREE training available for all staff across Herefordshire and Worcestershire, aimed at those who are thinking about career progression in clinical and care roles, this might include undertaking an apprenticeship as a trainee Nursing Associate, Allied Health Professional or Pre-Registration Nursing.


Interested? Come to the Numeracy & Literacy taster event and assessment centre.


When? Tuesday 11th September 2018 at 12.00 – 14:00 or 14:30 – 16:30pm


Where? Activity Room, Princess of Wales Community Hospital, Stourbridge Rd, Bromsgrove B61 0BB


The following numeracy course is supported by Solihull College and will run on the days below. You must commit to attending all dates and can only commence the course following completion of the assessment event detailed above. Literacy will also be assessed with a view to running this course in January 2019.


This programme is open to all staff who are employed within the Herefordshire and Worcestershire STP (Sustainability and Transformation Partnership) including Worcestershire County Council, Redditch and Bromsgrove CCG NHS, South Worcestershire CCG NHS, Wyre Forest CCG NHS, Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust, 4 Primary Care Collaborations, Herefordshire Council, Herefordshire CCG NHS, Wye Valley NHS Trust, 2gether NHS Foundation Trust, Taurus GP Federation. These courses are supported by funding from HEE.
