Flu Update Training

This course is ideal for clinicians delivering the annual NHS Flu Service in a primary care setting, including practice nurses, GP’s and pharmacists. This is also suitable for those delivering in a private setting. This course can be used as part of a clinicians ‘Foundation Training in Immunisation’ (10 hours PHE) or as part of a clinicians ‘annual immunisation update’ (half day PHE). 

Course length : 1.5 hours

Course Schedule:

  • Introduction to the course
  • History and cause of Flu

Review on how immunity works.

Brief look at how and why Flu spreads in the way that it does.
