1hr Study Session

Consists of an interactive learning session to be delivered live via learning management system (LMS) platform (will also be recorded for access following live event)

Target Audience – Primary Care Staff – aimed at basic level covering benign and common conditions that may be seen in general practice.

Session has identified learning objectives

Interactive use of quiz and polls, time for questions and re-cap of learning objectives at end of session

• Visual quiz – common lesions
• Specific common skin lesions seen in general practice (including visual presentation)
• Referral Pathway
• Safety Netting
• End of session quiz – visual matching
• Review of learning objectives

Speaker for the session is Dr Steph Manton

Dr Steph Manton has been a GP in Worcestershire since 2009.  Having completed her medical degree and GP training in Manchester and the North West, she relocated back to her home county with her GP husband.  She currently works part-time in a busy Worcester City practice and spends the other half of her week working as a GP Mentor and as a GP Multi-Professional Educator for the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Training Hub.  She has particular interests in Menopause Care, Pediatrics and Medical Education.  She lives in rural Worcestershire with her husband and two children.  In her spare time, she can be found enjoying the great outdoors; either walking, running or cycling.
