Mental Health in General Practice : An Introductory Study Day for Primary Care Clinicians

Following the success of the online running of this course, we are pleased to announce that we will be offering a face-to-face fully-funded mental health study day.
6 CPD points
Join us as we navigate our way through some of the more common mental health presentations that we see in General Practice. During these 6 interactive sessions, led by Dr Steph Manton and Dr Olwen Wright, GP Multi-Professional Educators with the Training Hub, you will be taken through the following topics:
Low mood and depression
Understanding suicide and self-harm
The anxieties
The psychoses, bipolar disorder and the acutely disturbed patient
Mental health in older people
Mental health in children and young people
This programme is suitable for all Healthcare Clinicians working in Primary Care across Herefordshire and Worcestershire, who may be directly or indirectly involved with patients with mental health symptoms.
Please note lunch will not be provided; however, tea and coffee will be available throughout the session.
