Learning Disability Lunchtime Learning Sessions

Join us for our next Lunch and Learn session, led by Dr Sarah Steadman, Community Paediatrician, who will explore the importance of syndrome-specific health checks for people with learning disabilities.

Dr Steadman will look at some of the common syndromes associated with learning disabilities, why syndrome-specific health surveillance is so important, and the key health risks and potential complications associated with each syndrome.

This session will provide an opportunity to build awareness and confidence in recognising the health needs linked to different syndromes, helping us to support proactive, personalised and preventative healthcare.
