Making Sense of Menopause Fully-Funded Study Day for Primary Care Clinicians

Taking place face-to-face on Friday 22nd January 9:00am - 4:00pm, at Nelson House Hereford, HR4 0DG

We are delighted to offer this face-to-face study day for clinicians from across Primary Care in Herefordshire and Worcestershire.  This study day will leave participants feeling confident in managing patients with perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms. 

The interactive day led by Dr Steph Manton, GP Multi-Professional Educator with the Training Hub and GP with an interest in menopause care and holder of the British Menopause Society’s Advanced Certificate in the Principles and Practice of Menopause Care, will take attendees through the following topics:

Registration:    Arrival and welcome

Session 1 :        Presentation and diagnosis of menopause and perimenopause

Session 2 :        Management of menopausal and perimenopausal symptoms

Session 3 :        Practical prescribing of HRT

Session 4 :        Specific condition management in the menopause

Session 5:         Menopause in the news and Q & A session

This programmed study day is suitable for all Healthcare Clinicians working in Primary Care across Herefordshire and Worcestershire, who may be directly or indirectly involved with patients with menopausal symptoms.  This includes, but is not limited to: GPs, Trainee GPs, GP Nurses, Advance Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Associates, Clinical Pharmacists, Physician’s Associates, Paramedics, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists. 

Lunch will not be provided; however, tea and coffee will be available throughout the session.

Please note that unfortunately there isn’t any parking on site, however there are several car parks close by. A couple of options are the car park for the Horse and Groom which is a short walk to the venue and Merton Meadow Car Park which is roughly a ten-minute walk.
