Mental Health in General Practice : An Introductory Study Day for Primary Care Clinicians

Join us as we navigate our way through some of the more common mental health presentations that we see in General Practice. During these 6 interactive sessions, led by Dr Steph Manton and Dr Olwen Wright, GP Multi-Professional Educators with the Training Hub, you will be taken through the following topics:
Agenda
Session 1 : Low mood and depression
Session 2 : Understanding suicide and self-harm
Session 3 : The anxieties
Session 4 : The psychoses, bipolar disorder and the acutely disturbed patient
Session 5: Mental health in older people
Session 6: Mental health in children and young people
This programme is suitable for all Healthcare Clinicians working in Primary Care across Herefordshire and Worcestershire, who may be directly or indirectly involved with patients with mental health symptoms.
This study day will be delivered via our online LMS platform. There will be time allocated for comfort breaks and a short lunch. Attendees will be expected to access microphone and camera options on their electronic devices.
Places are limited and will be awarded on a first come, first served basis. In the event that the study day is over – subscribed, the Training Hub will endeavour to provide an additional date.
