Health Education England (HEE) Funding


Advanced Clinical Practice MSc 2021

Expressions of interest are now open for primary care clinicians wishing to undertake the Advanced Clinical Practice MSc.

HEE have offered funding for 25 places across the Herefordshire and Worcestershire STP Primary Care Providers.

Applicants must ensure:
  • They meet the entry requirements of the Higher Education Institution (HEI) – University of Worcester
  • They are able to commit to the duration of the MSc programme
  • They have the support of their employing organisation
  • Their employing organisation is able and willing to offer the required mentorship/experience/supervision/study day release (there is no backfill funding, funding is for the course only).
Should applications received, exceed places available, an interview process alongside an equitable PCN allocation system will be applied.

Applicants are advised to commence application processes with the University of Worcester whilst waiting for placement allocation due to the timescales involved. University applications can be withdrawn should application for funding not be successful. Those that have already secured self-funded places are eligible to apply for the HEE funding as the funding status can be altered with the HEI.
