We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic band 6 nurse with a proven clinical background.  The successful candidate will have the ability and personal drive to run clinics autonomously alongside Primary Care colleagues.  You will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for patient care and the ability to adapt in order to respond to the challenging demands of primary care.  ​

Qualifications:           

Essential:         

§       1^st level registration

§      Hold a current PIN issued by the NMC

§       Trained to undertake cervical cytology

Desirable:

§   Diploma in Coronary Heart Disease Care

§   Family Planning Certificate

§   Diploma in Diabetes Care

§   Diploma in Asthma care

§   Diploma in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

 

We are a large, well organised GMS practice with an increasing list size of just over 17,500. 

·         We are a training practice – VTS and medical students.

·         Host Practice for Primary Care Research Network in Redditch

·         Excellent Chronic disease management recall system

·         High QoF Achievers

·         Large supporting team with 5 nurses, 2 HCAs and a Phlebotomist, as well as well coordinated admin team.

·         We use Emis Web and Docman (including EZ Doc)

·         Well established with EPS 

·         On-site pharmacy

·         Good sense of humour essential
