Clinical Pharmacist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a pharmacist to join our GP practice - Spring Gardens Medical Centre - Worcester City Centre. We are seeking a full time experienced practice pharmacist with to develop medicines optimisation services within the GP practice.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop a new clinical role. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to develop and run processes for repeat prescription and reauthorisation, for the management of medicines on transfer of care and systems for safer prescribing, to improve quality in prescribing and medicine management to deliver cost-efficiencies and achieved patient centred care.
The successful candidate will have a role in managing long-term conditions and will have the opportunity to develop their role.
We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic and professional individuals looking to develop clinical career prospects. You will have a good clinical background, excellent communication and presentation skills. Applicants will be computer literate, organised and confident in working independently and able to prioritise workload.
Essential requirements
- You must be a qualified pharmacist with the Completion of an undergraduate degree in Pharmacy, and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- You must have a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience.
- Be a non-medical independent prescriber.
- Have an awareness of the breadth of common acute and long term conditions that are likely to be seen in a general medical practice
